The Lanparte MA-03 is a six-inch articulated magic arm, engineered specifically for the HHG-01 iPhone / GoPro Gimbal Stabilizer. With its heavy duty, all-metal construction, the MA-03 is the perfect solution for mounting accessories such as monitors or LED lights to your gimbal, and can withstand a maximum load of up to 5kg.
The magic arm mounts securely to the gimbal via the gimbal collar, which is tightened with an Allen key to ensure absolutely no slipping. The collar can be left attached to the gimbal at all times when the magic arm is not in use – to do so, just unthread the magic arm from the collar. The magic arm can then be speedily re-attached to the gimbal when needed without the need for an Allen key. The magic arm can also be threaded into any other rig or device with a female ¼" thread, which makes the MA-03 versatile and a cost effective choice.
The MA-03 has three articulation points. A central pivot allows the magic arm to be locked at any point of its 360 degrees axis and two ball joints enable fine angle adjustments. Attached to the ball joints are 1/4" threaded screws. As previously stated, one of these threads screws into the collar. The other threaded screw is intended to thread into an accessory such as the GH43H Monitor or LED Light. The ball joint sockets are notched in order to be fixed at 90°.
The single locking knob (located at the central pivot point) ingeniously locks both ball joints and the central pivot gear – that's one locking mechanism for 3 articulation points!
