The Rode Boompole Pro is an ultra lightweight yet ultra sturdy carbon fibre boompole with a maximum extension of 3 metres and weighs in at just 535g! It has a 3/8 screw thread for attaching Rode and other brand shotgun microphones.

For professional sound technicians, you need a boom pole that is lightweight and reliable. Rode have engineered this boompole from high quality carbon fibre in order to meet those needs. Weighing just 535g, this boompole will enable lengthy shoots without the fatigue felt when using standard boom poles.

The five carbon fibre sections can be adjusted and secured firmly to the desired length thanks to the intuitive twist-lock mechanisms. The boompole measures just 85cm in its fully collapsed state and can be fully extended to an impressive 3 metres.

The 3/8" thread will attach directly to Rode microphones such as the NTG3 or to any other shotgun microphone with the aid of a 3/8" adapter. The fibre washer ensures that there is no annoying squeaking noises when the mic is attached that could potentially ruin your audio.

It's possible to run an XLR cable internally through the boompole thanks to the removable 3/8" spigot head, which has a cable-hole to run the cable out from. This keeps the Boompole Pro looking tidy and will decrease the chance of cable handling noise and damage.
