When shooting stills or video for extended periods of time, battery life is often a problem. With the Lanparte portable battery pack, you are now able to extend this battery life of your Panasonic Lumix GH3 and GH4 mirrorless camera by more than four times the standard battery thanks to its enormous 6000mAH (45wH) capacity.
The battery pack is supplied with a BLF19P-01 dummy battery adaptor that fits inside the battery tray of any camera that takes uses BLF19P-01, namely the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 and GH4 mirrorless cameras.
This adaptor connects to the battery via a 3 pin mini XLR port, and can be interchanged with other adaptors (sold separately) to power a range of different cameras. (Please note: the battery door must be shut before the camera will power on).
This is a great alternative to a battery grip, particularly if you use your camera on a rig, where the extra height and bulk of a battery grip can get in the way.
The rechargeable pack uses lithium ion technology to fit this huge amount of charge into a small handheld package. Four LEDs provide a gauge of the amount of power left in the pack, whilst a fifth LED illuminates red when charging, and finally turns green when charging is complete.
Also included is a mains charger and carry pouch, which features a handy belt clip.
The device is CE & RoHS certified for safety and features smart charge circuitry to charge quickly without causing battery damage. It also has short circuit sensing, and will automatically switch off its output if a short circuit is detected.
