This baseplate attaches to any industry standard 15mm rails system.  It provides a place for the rig to be attached to any tripod, with its 2 x 3/8” and 1 x ¼” threads.

This is Lanparte’s second generation model - the very latest. It features an uprated sliding quick release pate on the top, which has a side lever to lock the plate in place. This quick release plate can also be mounted from above, so you will not need to move everything off your rig in order to take your camera off and on.

The key advantage of this baseplate over non-adjustable ones is the fact that the camera height can easily be adjusted, meaning the camera can be set to match the height of a matte box, or alternatively to match the eye level of the operator when using a loupe viewfinder.  Four clamping screws hold the 15mm rails firmly in place.

The unit also features a spirit level and 2 screw mounting points on the side (1 x 3/8” and  1 x ¼”).

Note: Rails pictured above sold separately.

The part is machined from lightweight aluminium alloy, using CNC techniques and hard anodised in black to provide a finish which is highly durable, and very resistant to scratching (a far superior durability when compared to cheaper powder coated parts).

The design features several milled out slots to reduce the overall weight, without compromising on strength.
