If you find your rig feels a little front heavy, you may wish to add a counterweight behind the shoulder pad, to make it a little more balanced. Although adding counterweights makes the rig heavier in total, it is generally the weight distribution that makes the difference of how easy the rig is to manage. This weight is machined from solid billet stainless steel. Using stainless steel as a material means a large amount of weight can be packed into a small, manageable physical size. It also means the weight is not prone to cracking if knocked (like brittle cast iron), and will stay bright and shiny for the duration of its life. The weight clamps on to your 15mm rails via a single clamp and comes with two bolts, allowing you to screw as many additional weight together as you need. Each weight has two counter-bored holes, for the bolts to pass through and two threaded holes for the bolts to screw into (when joining multiple weights). Each weight has a rubber o-ring running around each side to protect the weight from damage if dropped.

These weights will have a greater balancing effect the further they are positioned away from the shoulder pad (increased levering action/turning force), so you may consider extending your rear rails slightly to create a longer overhang.
